Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.
No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
LAKE RULES
- The lake that the cabin sits on is a NO WAKE part of the lake.
- Included is a map of the lake, please note where there is a wake allowed.
- Also, QUIET NO WAKE hours for the entire lake are 5 pm until 10 am. Recreation is from 10am until 5pm.
- Boats should move counter-clockwise around the lake.
- NO FIREWORKS of any kind are allowed.
- Stay 200 feet away from loons.
NO PARTIES
Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at our cabin. Any small gathering must comply with our other house rules regarding noise, the neighborhood and visitor numbers.
If any neighboring residents report excessive noise or unruly behavior, we may have to evict you from our property and terminate the vacation rental agreement. This could result in loss of security deposit and rental amount.
NO SMOKING
Our cabin is a smoke-free zone inside. This is important to us in order to keep our property in the best condition possible. Guests can only smoke in outdoor areas.
Please do not throw cigarette butts onto the property lawn. Please dispose of any garbage and do so safely. Failure to comply will result in a deduction from the security deposit or incur charges.
CAMPFIRES
Keep all fires in the firepit.
Allowed burning materials include: brush, sticks, wood, paper & cardboard.
NOT Allowed includes: garbage, plastics, metal, rubber or anything else not included in the”Allowed” materials list above.
QUIET HOURS
Quiet Hours are 10pm to 8am. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
*NOTE: Even quiet talking carries completely across the lake.
CHILD SAFETY
We try to keep our vacation rental as child-friendly as possible. That said, parents always have the final responsibility of ensuring their children’s safety at all times. If you find anything to be unsafe or that requires revision at our property, please contact us at your earliest convenience so we can address the issue. To maintain our property kid-friendly, we ask that you:
- Never leave children unsupervised at our property without any adults.
- The side yard is a perfect, safe place for children to play. To avoid danger, please don’t let them play on the hill or by water without supervision.
- NEVER leave kids unattended by the water!
- Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the neighborhood.
HOT TUB USE
Our guests love using the hot tub! There are a few things we ask you to bear in mind:
- Please respect quiet hours even when using the hot tub.
- The maximum number of people allowed in the hot tub is 7.
- Children should never use without being supervised by an adult.
- Do not use glass in the hot tub, only plastic.
- Guests must shower before entering the hot tub to rinse off any sunscreen.
PETS
Pets (2 max) are welcome at our home (with a pet fee if ?$100)! If you’re staying here with your furry friend, there are some things we’d like you to help us out with to ensure a smooth stay for everybody.
- We know you love your pet, but we ask that you please don’t let them up onto the furniture, especially sofas and beds.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please ensure you clean the spending area daily and hose it down with water if necessary.
- Pets must always be on a leash.
DAMAGES
While we know our guests won’t intentionally break anything at our vacation rental, we understand accidents can happen sometimes. Here is what you need to know about accidental damages or breakages during your stay.
- Always report any accidental damages or breakages in a timely manner, especially before check-out.
- Please do not move any furniture from one room to another.
- Please don’t take any bath towels with you to the beach. There are beach towels for that!
- In case any damage to the property or its appliances is not covered by our insurance, the guest will pay for the repair costs from the security deposit or incur charges.
